Is Ed Davey As Big An Idiot As Chris Huhne
The departure of Chris Huhne is an enormous opportunity for the coalition government to quietly abandon the whole man made Climate Change scam and concentrate on what really matters in a world that has seen no warming since 1998, cheap affordable energy and a lasting economic recovery.
Under Huhne the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) was actually the Department of Climate Change and Energy, where everything was subject to being politically correct Green renewable energy, the supreme governance in any energy solution, would it enable Britain to meet its CO2 emissions targets?
Huhne’s political and economic wisdom can best be encapsulated by, Huhne being an enthusiastic supporter for Britain joining the Euro, which given the current Eurozone meltdown shows just how perceptive Huhne is.
A deeply ambitious man, convinced of his own infallibility in everything Huhne could never be reasoned with, and certainly would never let a small thing like the truth stand in the way of his crusade. Globally the evidence has mounted inexorably that wind and solar energy are a money pit that kill jobs and energy security and affordability, but still Huhne lied to Parliament and the country about the cost of his Green Dream, directly contradicting the costs his own Department had projected that Green energy would cost.
Attila the Huhnatic has gone now, locked into a court case that will do serious damage to Huhne personally and politically, as well as, further damaging what little there is left of Liberal Democrat Party, so the news is not all bad.
So what of the new Secretary for Energy and Climate Change?
The answer sadly is Yes, Ed Davey is almost as big an idiot as Chris Huhne, this is on Ed Davey’s website, published today:
On my appointment as the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change:
This is a sad day because Chris Huhne has had a real vision for a green economy and he’s done fabulous work as Secretary of State.
I’ve now got to take up the challenges – the challenge of climate change, the challenge of energy security.
And I’m particularly conscious of the impact on households across the country of high energy bills.
I’m determined to work to follow on Chris’s priorities, the Coalition’s priorities and to make them my priorities.
I want us to have a green economy, with the green jobs and investment we need to help grow our economy.
Globally the evidence proves that there is no such things as a Green economy, lasting Green jobs and you most definitely cannot have jobs and economic prosperity based on Green taxes and unreliable energy supplies.
Davey claims that his first priority will to tackle energy bills, but to do that someone will first have to give the people of Britain the real cost of Climate Religion approved energy.
It is time the politicians of Britain listened to the people and stopped pandering to the quasi-religious beliefs of Guardian readers, unelected NGOs like Greenpeace, WWF, FoE and the very small minority of ecofacists like Caroline Lucas who are against anything but their dream of an Agrarian Totalitarian State where Gaia holds sway.
