COP18 – Kyoto 2 Comes Apart

The outcome of COP18 did at least last a little bit longer than COP17, where just 1 day after COP17 finished, Canada exercised its legal right to withdraw from the Kyoto protocol stating that “Kyoto was not the way forward for Canada or the world“.
So it is no real surprise to learn that once again Kyoto is rapidly eroding what little COP18 achieved, which in essence was 37 countries agreeing to a non legally binding extension of Kyoto to run until 2020, not one major CO2 emitting country has signed up.
The scale of the Green defeat at Doha can be quantified by the fact that the 37 countries emit just 15% of the scary CO2 emissions, and the majority of the 15% (11%) comes from the EU block of nations.

COP18 Money, Money In A Warming Alarmist’s World
COP18 Doha 5 days to the end of the conference and no sign of any guilt money from the west or any chance of deal on economic suicide.
There is always a danger that when repeating your own propaganda and lies, you brainwash yourself into believing your own lies.
Take for example the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS), AOSIS is a coterie of 43 Island nations all cynically repeating the we must prevent a 2°C temperature rise, claiming that their islands are sinking beneath the non rising sea levels, and in the case of the Maldives planning a new airport to be in service long after the islands were allegedly going to disappear.
As COP18 grinds inexorably towards failure, the people attending refuse to acknowledge that there has been no warming for 16 years, a period longer than the warming period that underpins the whole Anthropogenic Global Warming boondoggle. Read the rest of this entry
Economic Reality & The EU’s Leadership On Climate Change

The warming alarmists take great pride in leading the way, taking the moral high ground, being morally superior in the vain and ill founded hope that other nations will follow their example and commit economic suicide.
The reality is that while one nation commits economic suicide, the others look on in wonderment, Australia’s carbon tax has proved so politically divisive that the Australian Labor Party got hammered at the polls, British Columbia enacted a bold set of climate change policies and assumed others would follow.
Assumptions can frequently be wrong as British Columbia’s environment minister Terry Lake has found out, in a recent interview Lake said: “I think it is safe to say that we expected more jurisdictions to be coming up and joining us in this kind of public policy, that hasn’t happened.“

One of the major driving forces behind the Anthropogenic Global Warming scam is wealth redistribution and who controls the gathering and distribution of that wealth.
Up for grabs, assuming the UN can find any country or business to put money into it, is the US $100 billion Climate Fund to mitigate the non existent impact of man made climate change; no one is falling over themselves to contribute dollar one but already there is deadlock over who would control this fund. Developing nations for some reason want the worlds most corrupt organisation, the UN to control the fund, other nations the World Bank.
