There is no doubt the entire global Green movement, sometimes called, no make that frequently called the Church of Climatology, are anti progess, anti prosperity and above all anti people. In the words of one their leading experts, Canadian environmentalists David Suzuki humans are merely maggots infesting the planet. Then there are those Greens that want to exterminate 80% – 90% of the human race to save the planet.
So it is no surprise, no make that boringly predictable that Gaia’s disciples are up in arms about the Transatlantic Trade Investment Partnership (TTIP), which is an agreement between the worlds two largest trading blocs, the US and the EU. Talks had stalled but recently have restarted and an agreement between the two trading partners is looking to be on the cards.
So how would the EU benefit from TTIP? Read the rest of this entry
It is just one month into 2014 and the decline in the Anthropogenic Global Warming boondoggle within the European Union continues, this time with visible splits in the EU Commission on Energy.
European Energy Commissioner Günther Oettinger has called the latest EU climate ambition for 2030 emissions targets “stupid or arrogant“, this is not the first time that Oettinger has broken ranks with the EU Green cabal. Last year Oettinger pointed out that there is no mileage in the leading the way with Green policies that kill jobs and make energy unaffordable, the rest of the world is not going to follow the EU’s lead and commit economic suicide.
The latest Green stupidity from the EU commission is to cut Greenhouse gas emissions 40% from 1990 levels by 2030, in plans announced last week. Read the rest of this entry
“If is the middle word in life” said Marlon Brando’s character Colonel Kilgore in the movie Apocalypse Now.
Generations of computer programmers know If is a conditional, as in the conditional If, used in many programming languages, only in warming alarmist world are conditionals an absolute, where if and could, are actually synonyms for will.
When you couple this skewing of language with vested interests reporting on vested interests, you end up with the a classic Green non story like “Value of coal assets ‘could be halved’ if world goes low-carbon“.
Conditionals are of course based upon probability, and obviously there is a chance that the entire world could decide to believe the Green meme, leave fossil fuel reserves in the ground and decide to follow a dimly lit future based upon intermittent Green approved energy generation.
The big question, is it likely? Read the rest of this entry
The whole world has had a chance to have a long laugh at the antics of a bunch of warming alarmists scientists and Green propagandists from the BBC and The Guardian getting trapped in Antarctic sea ice.
The stupidity and religious belief in their own propaganda got these Green fools into a mess of their own making, which has happily ended with no loss of life or injury, just a huge amount of carbon pollution from dirty ships bunker fuel, and aviation emissions from the Chinese helicopter that rescued the fools.
The explanations as to why the ice was so thick have ranged from the ludicrous “Sea ice is disappearing due to climate change but here it is building up“, once the global laughter had died down Turney admitted it was weather not climate that had caused the huge build up in Antarctic sea ice.
So the big question is are we headed for a new ice age? Read the rest of this entry
The UK Guardian has always pushed the Green meme about wind power being the cheapest form of energy in the long run, and what is more important it will allow Britain to meet the now conveniently forgotten carbon targets that once dominated the political landscape.
Us nasty climate change deniers have always maintained that wind power was no more than a heavily publicly subsidised monument to Green folly that provides very expensive intermittent energy supplies, creates no lasting real jobs and the production of wind turbines has created environmental catastrophes in countries like China.
With it being the Guardian a fair number of those that comment are outraged, in the way only a liberal mindset can be by the sheer heresy of the article and even more so that there is no mention anywhere of Climate Change, Global Warming or loss and damage. Read the rest of this entry
As the warming alarmists and UN wealth re-distributors thrash around desperately seeking someone to blame for the 5th Successive COP meeting failure in a row, some incredibly silly and pathetic reasons will be forthcoming.
Like Aussies in T shirts for example.
The Greens have it in for Australia, following Tony Abbott’s crushing defeat of Julia Gillard’s Labor government and her Green allies in the September General Election, the rollback of Green stupidity down under has begun.
Tony Abbott chose not send Environment Minister Greg Hunt to Warsaw, having him instead stay in Australia to begin the process of removing Gillard’s Carbon Tax. Read the rest of this entry
That’s 5 UNFCCC COP failures in a row, an unprecedented record of failure, each Conference of the Parties has disintegrated faster than the COP that preceded it, with COP19 holding the current record.
There was never any doubt, from the outset that COP19 was going to be the biggest failure since records began, what has been surprising is the speed of that collapse, COP19 was effectively dead before it had begun.
It has just taken 5 days for COP19 to realize it was dead and hit the floor.
The make or break issue for COP19 was “loss and damage“, wealth redistribution to us regular folks and that great Green Socialist Barack Obama made sure that loss and damage was deader than Osama Bin Laden, before COP19 even started. Read the rest of this entry
Typhoon Haiyan has been a terrible human tragedy, the sort of human tragedy that should be above politics, the sort of human tragedy that should not be used to falsely advance a political agenda concerned solely with wealth redistribution.
The Philippines lead Climate Envoy Yeb Sano told COP19 just how much was at stake at COP19:
Sano wept as he told the room of the devastation that Super Typhoon Haiyan has swept through his country, and announced that he would fast throughout the two-week conference “in solidarity with my countrymen who are now struggling for food back home”.
The Filipino delegate said that he would keep this up until “a meaningful outcome is in sight”. This includes concrete pledges to fill up the coffers of the Green Climate Fund, as well as progress on a loss and damage mechanism, and “real ambition on climate action”.
Sano is without any doubt attributing Haiyan to Anthropogenic Global Warming, which is understandable from a man whose country has been severely damaged by the typhoon, but whose message is in direct contradiction to that of the IPCC Chair Rajendra Pachauri Read the rest of this entry
