The Pitcairn Island Wind Farm Fiasco
Pitcairn Island in the South Pacific where the mutineers from the Bounty settled
This is a classic case of government wasting tax payers money in an irresponsible way, all in the name of the International Aid Budget which currently stands at 0.7% of Britain’s GDP, and being Green.
Pitcairn Island is where the crew of HMAV Bounty settled, after casting the Captain of the Bounty, William Bligh adrift, the story has been immortalized in several Hollywood movies over the years so most people have some knowledge of the story.
The mutineers led by Fletcher Christian consisted of 8 British sailors, 6 Tahitian men, 11 Tahitian women, and 1 baby landed on Pitcairn in 1798 and remained there undiscovered until the US sealing ship Topaz visited the island in 1808. The people who landed in 1798 are the ancestors of today’s Pitcairn Islanders.
History is not sure what fate held became of Fletcher Christian, he is alleged to have been brutally murdered on the island, other stories say that Christian made it back to England, though the logistics of doing this were nearly impossible at the time, for example today to travel to Pitcairn Island means flying to New Zealand, then taking 2 more flights and finally a 32 hour boat trip to reach the island, this place really does put the R in remote.
Pitcairn Island is a British Overseas Territory, a throw back to the days of the Empire, which means it receives priority foreign aid from the Foreign Aid budget, which is currently £43000 per islander. Estimates of the island population vary from 44 to 67, with 55 being the most popular, which is where the figure of £43000 comes from, considerably more than the average wage of £25000 in Britain.

The Cost Of Green Energy Topples The Government In Bulgaria
The citizens of Europe’s poorest country, Bulgaria, take to the streets to protest the cost of Green Energy and Poverty
There is a lesson to learned from events last month in Europe’s poorest country, Bulgaria, well actually there are 2 lessons to be learned, both unfortunately need to be learned by politicians in the rest of Europe, or the world when it comes to it.
The first lesson is that people will not put up with ever increasing electricity bills in the name of saving the planet while a few fat cats and crony capitalists cream off huge profits from Green subsidies on ordinary people’s and businesses energy bills, the second lesson is that Green intermittent renewable energy wreaks havoc on electrical grids, ultimately leading to brown outs and black outs as the grid cannot cope with the sudden Green energy spikes.
History shows that even a short period of rolling black outs will bring down a Government, even in a country like Britain, when in 1974 then Prime Minister Edward Heath took on the miners, with the resulting Three Day Week of rolling power cuts. Heath called an election in February 1974 when the Three Day Week was at its height, and effectively lost the election as he could not form a working majority for Government.

Most British Wind Farms Are Net CO2 Emitters
Large British wind farms will actually release as much carbon dioxide as fossil fuel power plants, conclusions of a new study conducted by researchers from Aberdeen University
Wind farms are another of the Greens zero CO2 mirages, naturally the emissions produced during the manufacture of the turbine are ignored, as are the emissions of the fossil fueled coal or gas power station that has to be on standby for when the intermittency problem happens.
A new study by researchers from Aberdeen University has uncovered yet another problem with CO2 emissions and wind farms, this time it is the land that wind farms are built upon that is the source of massive amounts of CO2 being released.

Chris Huhne Disgraced Liberal Democrat Climate Change Secretary Goes To Jail
December 2011 Liberal Democrat Climate Change Secretary Chris Huhne planned to force 32000 more monuments to Green stupidity on Britain, today Huhne starts an 8 month jail sentence.
The man at the heart of forcing the Green Agenda on Britain, is today in prison starting an 8 month jail sentence for the crime of Perverting the Course of Justice.
The fall of Liberal Democrat Climate Change Secretary Chris Huhne has been at the speed of sound, this is one occasion when the well worn expression “crashed and burned” really does mean burnt twisted wreckage, in this case Huhne’s now non existent political career, his reputation, his credibility and his relationship with his children.
Prior to suddenly pleading guilty just before his trial was due to start Huhne continually lied about being guilty, he used every trick in the book to keep the case out of court and gag any reporting of the proceedings, which makes Huhne’s mea culpa moment on Channel 4 News tonight look all the more cynical, with Huhne already having an eye on his post prison career moves.

EDF Energy To Sue Environmentalists Over Power Station Sit-in
Green protestors from the group No Dash For Gas closed the West Burton power station for 8 days in November 2012.
Last November 21 members of the No Dash For Gas sect of the Church of Climatology organized a sit-in at the West Burton power station in Nottinghamshire, which caused the power station to shut down for 8 days.
The Guardian proclaimed them Green heroes, and posted the usual fawning and sycophantic articles that are reserved only for noble Green activists, in fact today the Guardian has a video produced by No Dash For Gas which shows how to occupy a power station.
It is not easy being Green as the saying goes, it can also be very expensive being Green, as most energy bill payers now know from the real cost of Green renewable energy on their bills.

Ed Davey “Climate Change Science Is Irrefutable”
Liberal Democrat Climate Fool Ed Davey believes that Climate Science is irrefutable.
This would be funny, or possibly just plain boring if it were one of the usual Green suspects like Ban Ki-Moon, Connie Hedegaard, Christiana Figueres or one the banshee wailing NGO’s, instead it is a British Government minister who has a very big say in the energy mix and energy security of Britain.
Ed Davey is the replacement Liberal Democrat Climate Change secretary in the lack lustre coalition government that is currently compounding the damage done to the country by the previous Labour Regime of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown.
Davey’s predecessor as Climate Change secretary, Liberal Democrat Chris Huhne has gone, guilty of the serious crime of Perverting the Course of Justice, Huhne is currently awaiting what is most likely a custodial prison sentence.
Huhne in his day was a formidable politician, a devout member of the Church of Climatology, at the annual UN Climate Circus meetings Huhne could usually be found with his nose up Connie Hedegaard’s butt, busily trying to give away more money that Britain did not have.

Scotland’s Green Dream Subsidized By England & Wales
Energy bill payers in England and Wales are subsidizing Alec Salmond’s Green Dream of 100% renewable energy for Scotland by 2020
Scotland is due to hold a referendum on independence from the rest of the United Kingdom in the fall of 2014, the result of which has got the Greens and crony capitalists very worried, because it transpires that the vast majority of the Green subsidies on energy bills for Scottish renewables comes from south of the border.
Scotland’s First Minister Alec Salmond’s plan for 100% renewables for Scotland by 2020 would be doomed if the Scottish people vote for independence, because Scotland alone cannot afford the Green stupidity of Alec Salmond.

Second Wind Turbine Falls Down In South West England
Last week a wind turbine in Broadworthy, Devon collapsed in a 50 mph hour wind, now a second bird chopper has collapsed 18 miles away in Cornwall.
Last weekend a wind turbine collapsed at Broadworthy, Devon in a 50 mph wind, although the wind turbine is supposed to be resilient to wind speeds more than twice as fast as this.
Now a second bird chopper has come crashing down 18 miles away in Cornwall on the family farm of a Lib Dem councillor, the Lib Dems you may recall from their last party conference were the only major political party in Britain, to still believe in Climate Religion, so it is no surprise to find Green crony capitalism being practiced by one of their number.
The collapse of 2 symbols of Green tokenism within a week have put health and safety pressures on an industry already under attack for besmirching landscapes and costing billions in Green subsidies for energy bill payers.

Bald Eagle’s Nest And Habitat Destroyed For Wind Farm
Wind Turbines are not called bird choppers for nothing, every year across the planet millions of bird are killed by wind farms.
This video shot just 3 days ago, shows that the only Green in wind farms is the colour of money, watch as the tree containing the Bald Eagles nest is cut down with the birds still in it.
The Bald Eagle is both protected and rare in Ontario, yet this counts for nothing as Green renewable energy is involved, the birds, just collateral damage and martyrs for the Green cause.
At the end of the video it says SHAME SHAME SHAME SHAME SHAME which does not even get close.
Wind Turbine Fail, Service Life Is Just 50% Of That Quoted By The Wind Industry
Latest peer reviewed study proves that the life of a bird chopper is 10 – 15 years not the 20 -25 years spun by the renewables industry and used by politicians for planning.
The case against wind turbines was already proven, intermittency or the inability to provide and meet demand for electricity is bad enough, as is the problem for renewables that they need to have a fossil fuel or nuclear power station on standby because of the intermittency issue, now a peer reviewed study by the Renewable Energy foundation has disclosed another major failing of wind power, the turbines actual serviceable life in roughly half that of the life span quoted by the manufacturers.
The study was carried out by Professor Gordon Hughes of the University of Edinburgh, one of Britain’s leading energy and environmental economists, using years of data from wind farms in both Britain and Denmark.
The findings are yet another embarrassment for the whole Green renewable energy boondoggle and has serious financial implications for energy bill payers who are already propping up the renewables industry via the ever increasing Green subsidies on energy bills: Read the rest of this entry
