As Britain struggles under the weight of debt from the profligate spending of the worst Chancellor of the Exchequer and the worst Prime Minister in 300 years Gordon Brown, a new book says that Brown has been stewing in a pot of righteous indignation garnished with delusional thoughts of him saving the world, again.
Brown slithered out from underneath his rock in August to launch a diatribe of lies against News International and to let everyone know that he, Gordon Brown was right about everything and everyone else was wrong.
The world looked on and said “Sorry Gordon you have us confused with someone who gives a shit about you”
Now a new book Brown at Number 10 by Anthony Seldon and Guy Lodge reveals more about the most damaged personality to become PM since the end of World War 2: Read the rest of this entry
Real life is better by a country mile, than fiction as this story shows, disgraced Parliamentary Expenses Trougher and former Labour Home Secretary Jacqui Smith is to investigate pornography for 5 Live.
The Redditch Saddleback had some problems with her expenses, while she was staying in her sisters box room, Mr Smith was home consuming Kleenex by the mile and starching his socks to porn movies, all paid for by the taxpayer.
Smith is to interview film makers and porn stars for the documentary, which could be very entertaining if Smith has to interview any of her husbands favourite salami hiders Read the rest of this entry

There is something very rotten in Tower Hamlets, it is the council regime of Lutfur Rahman and his bunch of Radical Islam Councillors.
Rahman is politically pretty toxic, so toxic that even the Labour Party wont re-admit him despite the best efforts of London Mayoral hopeful Ken Livingstone, to get Rahman reinstated in a meeting to be held on November 30th. At this point Aardvark is tempted to cry racist and anti-Islam, but then to do so would make Aardvark as much of a cunt, as the cunts that brought Political Correctness and the proliferation of words ending in “ist” and “ism” to protect people like Rahman.
One of Rahman’s leading supporters Councillor Shelina Aktar has been arrested and is also under investigation by the Council Read the rest of this entry
Hazel Blears the former Communities Secretary, disgraced in the MP’s expenses scandal with some spectacular troughing is standing for the new seat of Salford and Eccles.
The problem for Blears is the expenses scandal just wont go away as the Salford Star reports on Salford Question Time:
At a stormy public Question Time at Salford Arts Theatre last night, Hazel Blears accused the media of lying about her during the expenses scandal. The Salford MP said “There’s an awful lot that’s been reported in the papers that is simply not true.”
Unfortunately Hazel didn’t mention all the stuff that was true… over £8000 on furniture, over £50,000 on mortgage payments, over £1000 on fees for personal tax returns, over £200 on bath towels and over £1000 on food when Parliament wasn’t even sitting.
Panel member Alex Halligan, representing the TUC, said “MPs, paid for by us, were basically taking the piss out of the ordinary people who voted for them…I didn’t mandate my MP to rob the taxpayer blind”… Read the rest of this entry
Three Labour MP’s were in court yesterday, trying to slither out of any legal reckoning by using the Bill of Rights to argue they are “above the law” and could only be judged by the House of Commons.
The arrogance of these troughers is unbelievable, so arrogant are they after 13 years in power they believe they can only be judged by fellow troughers in Parliament, and until told by the Judge that they must stand in the dock, they refused to do so. Read the rest of this entry
Another Labour expenses fiddler is about have his collar felt by the Met, Wanstead and Leyton MP Harry Cohen is to be the subject of a criminal investigation; Cohen claimed expenses in excess of £70k for his second home while he rented out his first home.
The Met have asked the HoC authorities for documents relating to expense claims made by Cohen, though the Police have yet to question Cohen.
Also under investigation is Eric Illsley, Labour MP for Barnsley who is alleged to have made phantom claims for Council Tax, whatever that may be. Read the rest of this entry
Former Defence Secretary and accomplished trougher and second home flipper Geoff Hoon has announced that he will quit Parliament at the General Election.
This is good news for his constituents in Ashfield and good news for the British taxpayer.
Hoon was useless as a politician, nearly as useless as Bob Ainsworth in the MoD, so useless in fact, that Hoon became a euphemism for a particularly offensive word until Peter Mandelson redefined it as a “chump” at the Labour Party
car crash conference.
Hoon brought nothing to the table, but he certainly walked away with a lot, a £1.6 million property empire, built on expenses and grace and favour apartments.
The defining moment of Hoon’s career was the non event coup against Gordon Brown, Hoon was unable to depose the most widely disliked and weak Prime Minister of modern times.
Ever the trougher Hoon is now hoping to hop on to the EU gravy train as a commissioner.
What a complete and utter Hoon.
2009 has been Gordon Brown’s annus horribilis (yes there is probably a Mandelchump joke in there) the financial saviour of the world could not save his own country, as the financial predictions of Brown and Darling were proved not only wrong, but so wide of the mark as to be laughable.
The scandal of MP’s expenses exploded in to the news courtesy of the Telegraph, and continues to cause massive tidal waves with today’s news that the Met Police have sent 2 further files on MP’s to the Crown Prosecution Service, making a total of 6 MPs and Lords in the frame. The expenses scandal initially reflected badly on the Government and Gorbals Mick the speaker, then backfired on Gordon Brown as he has had to pay back more money he should not have claimed.
The things claimed have verged from the ridiculous to fraud for non-existent mortgages, there will doubtless be some sacrificial lambs next year to satisfy the blood lust of voters rightly incensed over the abuse of taxpayers money by people they trusted.
The rising number of casualties in Afghanistan, the shortage of helicopters, equipment and funding blew up and did Brown, Ainsworth and Labour no favours.
Gordon Brown’s inability to admit there will have to be cuts in spending, the infamous 10% Tory cuts smear when government departments were preparing 20% cuts, 50% income tax and the resumption of class war and politics of envy have all failed to resonate with the public.
Then there was the slow motion car crash of the Labour party conference, the Sun pulling the plug on Labour support and Mandelson redefining the meaning of “Chump”. Read the rest of this entry
By Tory Aardvark
Question Time this week was a lot more entertaining than last week for Aardvark because Jacqui Smith was on the show, and if there is one political thing Aardvark enjoys, it’s watching the Redditch Saddleback squirm whenever the topic of her expenses is raised.
When the show started it looked like Hyacinth Bucket had been a last minute substitution for the former Home Secretary,
then Hyacinth spoke and the dawn of realisation hit, it’s Jacqui Smith.
A few days earlier we picked up a Tweet that Smith was going to be on the program in SMS (Save My Seat) mode, and indeed Jacqui was seat saving like there was no tomorrow, which for her political career is probably true.
For Jacqui Smith Mark 2 the socialist progressive teacher look is gone, now we have the Hinge and Bracket music teacher look, black sober and with a pearl necklace.
Was tonight’s performance the usual lacklustre affair that we have come to expect from Smith? Read the rest of this entry
